Media & Obesity Research Project: 2007

These Wiki pages were created by CyberEnglish students in May 2007. The content is a result of their research into how media and advertising may be linked to childhood obesity.The students worked in research teams. This Wiki experience was their first.

 

Citing your Sources

 

 

  1. Cite your sources in your text: Don't Forget 

    Model phrases to use when weaving source material into documents:

Replace italicized elements with your author, title and topic.

  • Name says in title that . . . .

  • According to name in title, blah blah blah . . . .

  • In his/her book/article/etc., title, name says that . . . .

  • The cause of idea, according to name in title, is . . . .

  • The reason for idea says name in title is . . . .

 

  1. List your sources at the bottom of your article or link to them in the text. Be sure to cite all the sources you use.

  2. Model to show you what I mean.
